We were delighted to be awarded our Silver Innovations in Sports Award this year. This nomination was made because of the way that Lainesmead provides an interesting range of physical activities that develop children's skills, promote fitness, team building and the enjoyment of sport. Our wide range of sporting activities include ice skating, golf, horse riding, football, cricket and netball.

Some exciting links have been made with the Swindon Sports Partnership and Swindon Town Football Club.

Groups of children throughout the school have had some great opportunities to enter tournaments and competitions in school and with our partner schools in our local cluster group and across the Borough. We have experienced some fantastic successes at all levels and in all sports.
